Meet Steve Warwick
Steve is joining us to talk about the Africa United Rugby League, founded by NSWRL Academy and Steve Warwick in 2012.

Established as stand alone incorporated association not for profit Rugby League Club in December 2016 ALL young people from or with heritage links to the following nations on the Continent of Africa qualify to play for the Africa United Harmony

Teams. ……..Algeria ,Angola ,Benin ,Botswana ,Burkina Faso ,Burundi ,Cameroon ,Cape Verde ,Congo ,Egypt , Eritrea ,Ethiopia ,Gabon The Gambia ,Ghana ,Guinea ,Ivory Coast ,Kenya ,Liberia ,Libya ,Madagascar ,Malawi ,Mali ,Mauritius ,Morocco ,Mozambique , Namibia ,Nigeria ,Rwanda ,Seychelles ,Senegal ,Sierra Leone ,Somalia ,South Africa ,Sudan ,Swaziland ,Tanzania ,Togo ,Tunisia ,Uganda , Zambia or Zimbabwe Africa United recently partnered with Nigeria Rugby League , and will work to connect all players with their relative nation with a view to represent their heritage.

Steve is on a mission make the community aware of our club and the work we do with the African youth and provide a welcoming sporting environment for them to learn the fundamentals of the sport for youngsters and a competitive environment for the over 18 senior group to enable them to play to their best ability in tournaments and act as mentors and trainers for the younger players. Provide opportunity for members of the African community to become qualified as coaches managers trainers and Officials of the club and taking some ownership of their club.

The League is looking for more community involvement hopefully more parent and player inquiry into becoming or getting their younger children involved in sport and our training academy for younger children around the 10 – 14 year age groups Getting more girls and women interested as players and officials.
