This is my first blog post on my new site and my first blog for a while since I have been busy writing software for distributors and manufacturers for the last six months.
Blogs posts can be planned , created as a result of hard work and perspiration or can simply be inspired . This blog is the latter.
I am inspired by two recent happenings , being invited to guest blog on a very sociable blogging network and my use of the wonderful software created by Nick Kellet and his team at List.ly .
Many of us like to make lists , to do lists , shopping lists and reminder lists .
Then there are the bloggers who write posts which are essentially lists giving 101 useful Twitter applications , 7 places to source content for your blog .. the lists are endless.
The genius of a list blog is that we are attracted by the use of numbers in a title and we are ever hopeful of finding just one gem in the list that will be extremely useful.
Now I have started a list grandly entitled ‘101 Things to do with a Brick ‘ and it is a list with a difference , at the moment it is incomplete and I have left it so that you can add your own ideas . You will be helping to create this blog post and your ideas will be promoted.
For this is no ordinary blog post , it is an interactive blog and in addition to commenting you can help build a list
Of course this is not a really useful list , but it is an experiment in blogging .
Please add your uses for a brick in the list by pressing the [Add to List] button below on the right at the top of the list .. looking for some inspired ideas 🙂
